Sunnyvale Volkswagen has just been recognized as a Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) and Bureau of Automotive Repair "Green Station".   We acheieved this rating because of our efforts to reduce waste and toxic emissions, including:

Replacing solvent cleaners with aqueous cleaning for parts and brakes,

Preventing spills of vehicle fluids with routine practices, technician training, and use of equipment,

Eliminating the use o disposable absorbents for spills by using dry shop floor clean-up methods,

Reducing waste water and conserving water with your car wash water re-use system and,

Increasing the amount of scrap materials recycled.
